ISO 9001 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It helps businesses and organizations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction.
After achieving the ISO 9001:2008 Standard in 2015 through the internationally recognised and UKAS accredited BSI Group, Aerofloor are now in the process of transitioning to the 2015 edition.
This is due for completion by October 2017.
Aerofloor’s Quality Manager, Laurie Wrathall is receiving training to insure a smooth and efficient transition.
Research into the new standard has shown more focus on Managements involvement with decision making, process implementation and all aspects of the companies Quality Management System. It also requires more in depth consideration on the company’s risks and opportunity.
Aerofloor is pleased to say that David Welsh the Managing Director has always been closely involved in Quality Management & Process Applications and will continue to do so in line with the new standard.
