Aerofloor opened its Burn Testing Laboratory in 1992, with its continuing success due to maintaining a quick turnaround and high standard of service.
Our Burn Test Officials, Mr. Wayne Woods and Mr. Jayden Welsh bring over 15 years of combined experience to our test house. Which certainly gives customers confidence in the Certification we provide.
All tests are conducted “In House” to any of the EASA/FAA specifications where the samples are to be tested in the vertical orientation.
The relevant specifications are;
EASA.CS 25.853 (a) App. F, Part 1 (A) 1 (i) or (ii)
FAR 25.853 (a) App. F, Part 1 (A) 1 (i) or (ii)
Combination Vertical Burn Test
Non-Directional Vertical Burn Test
The test fee is £127.50 per test.
A typed Burn Test Report will be issued irrespective of the result.
Testing is conducted Monday – Thursday only.
Results are normally available within two working days from receipt of your order and test specimens.
Results will be notified by email with the originals to follow by post.
We also offer combination tests on your final product composite.
An additional service we provide is after-production Flame Proofing on certain carpet compositions. The maximum continuous length we can accommodate is 10 linear meters with a width of up to 2 meters.
